The Hong Kong Fire Services Department today (13th July) held the "Fire Services Department Community Collaboration Network 2026–2028 Appointment Ceremony, 1st Meeting and Networking Luncheon". Director of Fire Services, Mr. YEUNG Yan Kin, Andy, led officials of various ranks to gather with Director of Home Affairs, Ms. TO Kit Lai, Priscilla, District Officers, and Chairmen of the District Fire Safety Committees from the 18 districts. They engaged in in-depth exchanges and built consensus on issues including fire safety, building emergency preparedness, and community disaster prevention.

The Hong Kong Fire Services Department established the "Fire Services Department Community Collaboration Network" in 2022. Members include Divisional Commanders of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department and Chairmen of the District Fire Safety Committees under the Home Affairs Department. Through regular meetings and a collaborative mechanism, the Fire Services Department Community Collaboration Network jointly formulates and promotes "community-based" public safety strategies, disseminates fire safety and emergency information to the public, proactively addresses district fire safety needs, and is dedicated to comprehensively enhancing the overall safety level of the community.
