The Fire Services Department has been actively promoting and enhancing community emergency preparedness and fire safety. Together with the Yau Tsim Mong Office of the Home Affairs Department and the Yau Tsim Mong District Fire Safety Committee, they introduced the 'Three Treasures' (which include fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and standalone fire detectors) to about 500 local residents in the area, demonstrating how these tools can effectively improve building fire safety. They also showed the proper use of hose reel and promoted the 'AED Anywhere for Anyone' programme, encouraging citizens to use Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to help during cardiac arrest incidents.
