The Sham Shui Po District Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Event Day 2206, was successfully held at Maple Street Playground on February 8, attracting over 10,000 participants ina vibrant atmosphere.  The event kicked off with a performance by the department's Guard of Honour, followed by firefighters demonstrating simulated fire rescue operations.  Various interactive booths were set up, including climbing simulations, a disaster and emergency preparedness demonstration zone, "Ethnic Minority Community Emergency Preparedness Participation Scheme" education zone , and fire vehicle exhibitions.  Stage performances featuring drum music, acrobatics, and dance shows were also arranged.  Participants not only enjoyed the festivities but also gained valuable knowledge about fire safety and disaster preparedness.  The event was organized by the District Fire Safety Committee (Sham Shui Po District), with several distinguished guests attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This event was hosted by the District Fire Safety Committee (Sham Shui Po District) and co-organized by the Sham Shui Po District Office, the Fire Services Department, and the Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder Honorary Presidents' Association (Sham Shui Po District).  Over 100 staff members were deployed to ensure the event's success, which aimed to raise public awareness of fire prevention and safety knowledge through this initiative.
