The Fire Services Department (FSD) newly established four "District Public Safety Teams" (DPSTs) in Q1 2025 under the Kowloon Command, Hong Kong Command, and New Territories South Command. These teams conduct proactive inspections of old composite buildings, intensify fire hazard enforcement, and advance district-based risk management initiatives.

The DPST(NTS) joined with the Tsuen Wan District Office, Tsuen Wan District Fire Safety Committee, and Yeung Uk Road Care Team to conduct "Home Fire Safety Visits" in old composite buildings along Yeung Uk Road, distributing "three treasures". This collaborative effort leverages community resources and partnerships with local organizations to more effectively enhance public awareness of fire safety.
