In response to the Fire Services Department's Winter Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Promotional Month. The Fire Services Department, in collaboration with the Sai Kung District Office, the Sai Kung District Fire Safety Committee, and the Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder Honorary Presidents' Association (Sai Kung District), along with members of the Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder (Sai Kung District), conducted publicity activities at Metro City Plaza Central and King Lam Estate.
The Fire Services Department's Mobile Publicity Unit also visited King Lam Estate to conduct safety talks, display short videos and distribute leaflets, promoting disaster prevention and emergency information, to explain the content of the leaflets to the public and distributing souvenirs.
Fire personnel and members of Sai Kung District Fire Safety Committee then visited two households in King Lam Estate. They helped the elderlies identify and abate fire hazards in their homes and provided fire safety advice. Additionally, they distributed "3-Treasures" and assisted the elderly in installing Stand Alone Smoke Detectors.
