Fire Services Department (FSD) Tiu Keng Leng Complex was officially opened on August 31, 2026. Back in 1968, the FSD established the old Tiu Keng Leng Fire Station in the district to serve residents of the Tseung Kwan O area. With local development and changes over the years, the station completed its historic mission and officially closed on August 30, 1996. Over the past 30 years, Tseung Kwan O has continued to grow and its population has increased, leading to an ever-growing demand for firefighting, rescue, ambulance, and fire protection services. Consequently, the Tiu Keng Leng Fire Station-cum-Ambulance Depot and the FSD Tseung Kwan O District Headquarters located within the complex were the first to commence operations in December 2025. With other regional commands' offices, staff quarters, and various facilities sequentially moving in and operating, the FSD Tiu Keng Leng Complex is now fully commissioned.
