To enhance fire safety awareness among residents of the Sai Kung District, Fire Services Department, The Sai Kung District Fire Safety Committee, Sai Kung Home Affairs Department, and management personnel of Sai Kung Garden, jointly organized the "Community Collaboration Network (Sai Kung District) Fire Safety publicity and Building Fire Safety Education" activity on 28 January 2026 in Sai Kung Garden, Yan Man Street, and Mannin Street. The initiative aimed to further strengthen the public's emergency response and evacuation capabilities in the event of a fire.
Fire Services personnel demonstrate and educate residents on the use of fire hose reels, emergency preparedness kits (containing Three Treasures for Fire Protection and smoke hoods), and AED. They also conducted home visits and distributed emergency preparedness kits along with fire safety leaflets to promote fire safety awareness. Additionally, Fire Services personnel provided fire safety recommendations to the building management, which include keeping smoke doors closed and ensuring the annual inspection of fire service installations and equipment.
