The "Chung Yeung Festival Fire Prevention Campaign", organized by the North District Office of Home Affairs Department in collaboration with the District Fire Safety Committee (North District) and co-hosted by the Fanling Fire Station, was successfully conducted on 25.10.2025.
The volunteer team, alongside dedicated staff and Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder from the North District, visited Wo Hop Shek and Sheung Shui Shek Wu Market to promote fire safety awareness. Utilizing a mobile broadcasting vehicle, fire prevention messages disseminated to the resident of Fanling and Sheung Shui area by distributing fire prevention leaflets and souvenirs, and issuing special reminders to grave sweepers to be cautious with the burning of joss paper during the Chung Yeung Festival. It is vital to always be vigilant about fire prevention to protect our precious natural environment!
