On December 11, 2024, the North District Fire Safety Committee, in collaboration with Fanling Fire Station, Sheung Shui Fire Station of the Fire Services Department, various Care Teams in the North District, and the North District Office, held fire safety promotion events at Fanling Centre and Ho King House in Luen Wo Hui.

Booth games are organized to promote fire safety information to the public and distribute souvenirs at Fanling Centre. In addition, fire safety kits were distributed, and off-duty firefighters from the Fanling and Sheung Shui Fire Stations assisted residents in need by installing standalone fire detectors at Ho King House in Luen Wo Hui.
