To strengthen disaster preparedness awareness among residents of the North District, the Fire Services Department, in conjunction with the North District Fire Safety Committee, conducted a building visitation activity on 29 January 2026. During the activity, "Disaster Preparedness Emergency Kits" were distributed to households, including fire extinguishers, fire blankets, independent fire detectors, and escape hoods. During the fire safety talk, residents and building managers were also educated on the steps and mnemonic for using a fire hose reel and fire extinguisher, and inspections were carried out on the fire service installations and equipment of the subject buildings.
