On 4.1.2025, Fire Services Department, in collaboration with Kwun Tong District Office, District Fire Safety Committee (Kwun Tong District), Kwun Tong District Council, Director of Fire Services, Assistant Director (Kowloon) (Ag.), Dep Chief Fire Officer (Kowloon)(Ag.), Divisional Commander (Kowloon East) and Divisional Officer (Kowloon East) with colleagues of Fire Services Department held the Kwun Tong District Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Parade Cum Carnival at Free Space, Kwun Tong Town Centre. The carnival featured a variety of activities, including a variety show, booth games, displays of fire and ambulance vehicles and equipment, demonstrations by specialist teams, fire safety drama performances, search and rescue dog demonstrations, and a fire safety exhibition. Furthermore, a parade throughout the Kwun Tong district to disseminate disaster prevention and emergency preparedness knowledge was also held, aiming to enhance the awareness of fire safety and emergency preparedness among residents.
