As the Chung Yeung Festival approaches, the risk of wildfires increases, and the awareness of fire prevention must not be relaxed.
On 11 October 2024, District Fire Safety Committee (Kwun Tong District), Kwun Tong District Office of Home Affairs Department, Kwun Tong District Fire Safety Ambassador Honorary Presidents' Association, Kwun Tong District Fire Safety Ambassador, and the fire stations in Kowloon East Division of the Fire Services Department jointly held the “Chung Yeung Festival Hill Fire Prevention Publicity 2024” to remind the residents of Kwun Tong District to handle the kindling carefully.
On that day, the team distributed fire prevention leaflets and souvenirs to the public, calling on the public, especially those who were going to the grave sweep, to handle the kindling with caution, such as carefully handle the burning joss paper, constantly aware of fire prevention, and to jointly protect our community environment!
