Jointly organized by the Tsing Yi Fire Station and the Kwai Tsing District Fire Safety Committee, the Fire Services Department's Building Emergency Responder Training Course was successfully held today at the Tsing Yi Fire Station.

The target audience for this course was property management supervisors and supervisory staff from private residential estates in the Kwai Tsing District. A total of 22 property management practitioners from 13 housing estates attended the event. Through the training, instructors from the Fire Services Department explained the roles and responsibilities of property management personnel in ensuring building fire safety, as well as the management of fire service installations and equipment.

The course aimed to enhance their basic fire safety knowledge, emergency response skills, and equipment operation capability, thereby boosting their confidence and effectiveness in handling emergencies and further improving overall building fire safety. Participants who completed the training were immediately presented with Building Emergency Pioneer appointment certificates and disaster prevention and emergency kits to help them promote disaster preparedness and emergency response to residents and other management staff.
