On 12.3.2026, personnel from the Tsing Yi Fire Station, together with the Tsing Yi Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, successfully carried out the Fire Services Department “Old Friends” Home Visit Scheme at Tsing Yi Estate.  During the activity, 12 households of elderly residents living alone or as elderly couples were visited.  The team distributed the "Three Treasures for Fire Protection" (fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and stand-alone fire detectors), assisted with the installation of stand-alone fire detectors, assessed their home fire safety conditions, promoted fire response methods, and helped reduce potential fire hazards in their homes.
