On 26.1.2026, personnel from the Kwai Chung Fire Station, together with the Kwai Shing West Estate Sub-district Care Team (Kwai Tsing District), successfully carried out the Fire Services Department "Old Friends" Home Visit Scheme at Kwai Shing West Estate.  During the activity, 12 households of elderly residents living alone or as elderly couples were visited.  The team distributed the "Three Treasures for Fire Protection"—including fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and stand-alone fire detectors, assessed their home fire safety conditions, promoted fire response methods, and helped reduce potential fire hazards in their homes.
