Discovery Bay Winter Fire Safety Awareness Campaign and Sunday Outdoor Market 2024
  • Date: 2024年12月8日
  • Venue: Discovery Bay Plaza

The Discovery Bay Winter Fire Safety Awareness Campaign and Sunday Outdoor Market 2024 was successfully held on 8th December 2024 at Discovery Bay Plaza. This meaningful event combined fire safety education with a vibrant outdoor market atmosphere. Dr. CHIU Tak-wai, a member of the District Fire Safety Committee (Islands District), helped distribute fire safety pamphlets, while visitors learned about household fire safety equipment such as standalone smoke detectors and portable fire extinguishers. Booth games for children and community emergency preparedness messages, including evacuation strategies and AED usage, were highlights of the day. Over 600 attendees joined us to support fire safety awareness.
