Fire Safety Promotional Campaign in Cheung Chau

On February 25, Cheung Chau Fire Station, in collaboration with members from Islands District Council, District Fire Safety Committee (Islands District) and the Cheung Chau Care Team, conducted a fire safety education activities at Cheung Kwai Estate, Cheung Chau.

During the activity, the team distributed "Disaster Preparedness Emergency Kits" and stand-alone detectors to residents while educating them on fire safety measures. Attendees were introduced to the mnemonic "Break, Turn, Pull, Aim" for operating fire hose reel systems.

In addition, the team visited elderly residents, to assess their home fire safety conditions, promote fire response strategies, and help mitigate potential fire hazards in their homes.
